The NFM Lending team joined thousands of others in Baltimore, MD, on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the annual Red Shoe Shuffle! The Shuffle, a 5k that takes place around downtown Baltimore, raises money and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Participants walk, jog, or run around the 3.1 mile trail around the city. At the finish line, participants celebrate the race winners, and enjoy treats and activities, including ice cream, a visit from Batman, and two moon bounces!
In the weeks leading up to the Shuffle, each group has an online fundraising page. They can set fundraising goals, and share the page with friends and family who want to donate. This year, participants raised $345,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore.
This year marked the fourth annual Red Shoe Shuffle, as well as the fourth year in a row that NFM Lending has participated. We’re already looking forward to next year’s race!
